A Los Angeles native, Jessica Lesley founded YMS when the COVID-19 pandemic hit the entertainment industry. She saw the opportunity to bring her background in teaching and science to a new kind of company that would change the way productions functioned during the height of the pandemic.
She created a team that represents what the world looks like, a mix of people that represented all colors, ages, genders and backgrounds.
Our goal is to continuously study and analyze to provide the best solutions for our clients. We do this by properly assessing determinants of eco-friendly conditions by being a collaborative collective of scientists, doctors, and production experts.

Jennifer was born and raised in Los Angeles. She has 12 years of experience in the entertainment industry.
It was during her time in the entertainment industry that she met Jessica Lesley, the founder of You, Me Sciences. She came to YMS team in support of the transitionary stage of growth out of health & safety consultancy.
Her insights and knowledge has led the way for the transition of YMS from on set healthcare consultancy to a company that stands on the forefront of eco-practices and expansion into waste management solutions.
She enjoys coffee, drenching her food in hot sauce, practices reiki from earth based perspective and currently studies under Paqos of the Qeros Nation.

Dr. White earned his bachelor’s and Masters’ in Chemistry and his PhD in Material Science & Engineering from the historic Tuskegee University. As a Tri-Alumnus, his research includes the synthesis, derivation, and incorporation of nanocellulose into synthetic polymers.
While a graduate at Tuskegee he was a part of one of the largest multidisciplinary consortia funded by The National Science Foundation: The Center for Sustainable Nanotechnology (CSN).
His research has resulted in one publication, one awarded patent, and one pending patent.
Dr. White’s passion in research has led him into his mission of STEM education.
He is the author of the interactive book series You’re A Chemist Too!” Under the trade name DaChemist, he goes into the public-school system to educate kids in middle and high schools of the importance of chemical research.
